Ludowici Packaging can provide tooling for most of the common moulded fibre products. Alternatively, our design office will design tooling for your specific requirements but only on a prepaid basis.

The manufacture of egg cartons and some other products require an after-pressing process. The after-press tooling most match the shape of the formed article. It is most important that the forming process tooling and the after-press tooling are manufactured by the same manufacturer.

Pulp moulding plants use water. The plants can be engineered to give zero discharge during normal running conditions but this typically makes the plant more difficult to run and can lead to some discolouration of the product in the dryer.
