Ludowici Packaging provides a complete service from conceptual design through to production of print plates.

Artwork on existing cartons can be configured to fit Ludowici Packaging cartons or artwork can be generated from a customer idea or rough sketch.

At the point of sale, egg cartons must display certain information to the consumer. Such information as minimum egg size, storage instructions, address of the packer, and nutritional information are legal requirements. At Ludowici Packaging we can assist customers to meet their requirements as far as information on the pack is concerned.

Nutrition panels to comply with food standards are printed from customer provided information or customers can use the "default" Ludowici Packaging Nutrition Panels. These panels comply with Standard 1.2.8 of the Food Standards Code from Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ). Compliance to the Standards for egg cartons has been required since December 2002.

Nearly all egg cartons are bar coded. Bar codes can either be direct printed onto the carton or a bar code label applied. Labels allow for 100% scan efficiency at point of sale. Direct printed bar codes are most efficient on natural coloured cartons.
